Kvik was founded in 1983, primarily as a reaction to the established kitchen market and the type of service the branch offered its clients, i.e. long delivery times, overly complicated sales procedures and extremely high prices.
Moving beyond conventional thinking
Kvik was based on sound reason, deep respect for our customers and, not least, a willingness to embrace change. And it is this willingness to challenge the established way of doing things that still characterises the company 20 years on. Both in the way we sell kitchens and in our ideas about design and functionality.
Innovative thinking has, over time, led to the introduction of a series of ideas and products that are based on people’s wants and needs in the kitchen.
X-large™ can be adapted to suit a customer’s height and was created due to the desire to create an ergonomically correct workspace that combines function and design.
In 1999, we introduced the Sociable Kitchen®, which unites our modern style of living with the family’s need for sharing quality time.
